Hello! It is a pleasure for me to greet you through this letter. I hope your family and you are in good health. My name is Lucia Simaj Portuguez and I am 19 years old. Currently, I am no longer enrolled at school for lack of resources. So, I help my mother cleaning our home. My father works farming the land in our town to cover our family expenses. On the other hand, my mother looks after her domestic animals. I want to tell you that my siblings Juan Pablo and Felisa work in the city helping my parents financially. My siblings Gregoria, Ana and Angel are doing their best effort to study and learn. The current world situation affected us economically since my father was unemployed, but thankfully we could survive with God’s help.
We have seen our Lord’s fidelity in our lives because we have never lacked food. In fact, He allowed us to receive Living Water's help since the grocery bags that they gave us were a great blessing for my whole family. So, I am so grateful to you for all your support by means of the ministry; we cannot pay you, but our Heavenly Father is going to reward you and multiply your goods. In spite of the virus, all of us are in good health. My family and I are members of the Catholic Church; we usually go on Mondays and Thursdays. Finally, let me tell you that my mother Rosa Portuguez, assisted a member of the Evangelism team to update this information about me by phone since the staff want to protect us from the current pandemic. I say goodbye to you for now, but I hope to hear about your news next time.
Many kisses and hugs,
Lucia Simaj Portuguez
