My Story

Hello! My name is Maria, and I am 17 years old. I am writing this letter to tell you a little about my family and me. I no longer attend school due to our low resources. I do not have a stable job, but I went to work in a tortillas business in Guatemala City for three months. To work far away from my home has been a hard experience for me because I miss my family. Fortunately, God has always taken care of me, and I have felt His presence in my life. I know Jesus, and He is my faithful friend. Since I was a little child, I have had a friend whose name is Francisca. We like going out for a walk in our town.

I trust my mom a lot, and I enjoy cooking with her. She is my favorite person, and I identify a lot with her. She keeps working hard at home, and she also raises hens and goats for selling. My father is our main supporter, and he works as a farmer and day laborer. Thank God, my parents are in good health. We are secure in our Salvation, and as a family, we are attending Prince of Peace Church. We like taking part in the church’s activities, and our favorite one is the thanksgiving service for the harvest. I gave this information to LW Evangelism team, and I hope you find it interesting.
