My Story

I am so glad to greet you in this opportunity. I am Zoila. I am 13 years old. I am in 5th grade, and I receive classes every day at school. I give my homework to my teacher on the days I go to classes. I like to study and I pay attention when my teacher is explaining the lessons. My father works as a farmer, but he also goes to work on the coast for some months. My mother is a weaver and usually weaves typical blankets for selling to help herself economically.

By the grace of God, this pandemic situation has not affected us much. My father has had a job and is able to support our family. God is so faithful with us and has provided for the necessities at home. We are so grateful for His love toward us. We give thanks for the grocery bags that Living Water/ Adopt A Child has been giving us during this pandemic situation. The help was really useful for my family, and we want to express our gratitude for all the support that we receive from you through LW. God bless you in a big manner. We are healthy, and covid-19 has not affected us so far, thanks to God. We attend a Christian Church on Saturdays. I want to let you know that a collaborator of LW called my sister, Maria Chajal by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I send many hugs. Take care of your health. May God bless you!

With much love,

Zoila Chajal Benito
