My Story

Hello, blessings to you in the name of Jesus! my name is Edwin Eduardo Gomez De La Cruz and I want you to know that I am registered in the Feeding Center twelve years ago because I love to learn about God and his word and I am thankful for the delicious meals I enjoy when I come to the Program.

I attend the Catholic Church since I was a child and my parents have guide me in God paths. I recognize that only through our Lord we have salvation. Since I opened my heart to him, he forgave my sins and I have eternal life. I am assured to go to heaven. I would like to be part of the praise team in my church and along with my family I learn about God in the services.

I live with my parents, older brother and his wife at home. I also continue earning a living as a farmer and day laborer. I support my parents with the money I earn too. My mother is raising and selling her hens to earn some money and she also dedicates her time to the family and household duties. My father is working as a farmer and day laborer and thankfully he is in good health condition. I help her to sweep and collect firewood. I love cold weather and I am seventeen. I am grateful to God because my mother and I are doing well. I gave this information to LW teacher and she prayed for health for my parents. I send you all the best!
