My Story

I greet you in Jesus’ name hoping you are doing well together with your loved ones. I start my letter expressing my gratitude for all you have done for me. I tell you that I am working as a maid in my town, and I am helping my family financially. I identify a lot with my mom, and we help each other with the home cleaning. Miriam is my sister’s name, and she is my friend too. We like talking about our personal things. One of my hardest experiences has been to hear about my father’s death. It was a very hard and sad news, and only God has helped me to overcome his absence.

I have heard about Jesus, and for me, He is my Savior. As a family, we are attending the Catholic Church, and our favorite activity there is the Holy Hour. We are secure in our Salvation since we have accepted Jesus in our hearts. I would like to ask for your prayers for my mom because she is suffering from headaches and backaches. She has not been able to visit a doctor due to our low resources. I thank you so much for your prayers. My mom earns a living by tending her grocery store and selling peanuts on the town’s streets. I close my letter wishing you the best and hoping to have news from you soon.
