My Story

It is a beautiful day to greet you through this and I hope you and you are fine! I am so happy to tell you that my family and I attend Sobering King Church, and we go on Mondays and Thursdays. We appreciate so much the encouraging words that LW staff gave us, and for being worried about our spiritual life. My mother is Josefa Sucuqui Naz, and she is 49 years old. She earns a living by selling herbs, oranges and limes in the plaza. She also raises hens and turkeys for selling. At home, we grow corn and lemons just for our consumption. My father is Julio Morente, but he is not in my life because he abandoned us years ago. Moreover, he did not legally recognize me. I am so thankful to God because my family and I are healthy.

I am Tomas Fernando Sucuqui Naz, and I will turn 14 years old in August of this year. I am a sixth-grade student, and my learning is going well, and I like to attend school. I appreciate the effort my mother makes to support me at school even though she has no stable job and not a good income. I speak a little Spanish, and I would like to improve it to communicate better with other people. When I grow up, I would like to be a policeman. I love drinking coffee because it is delicious. I like to play football in my free time; it is the sport I like the most. I like Christmas time because there are firecrackers everywhere. I light some of them, and I have a lot of fun. On my birthday, I like to wear my new clothes; I enjoy my day happily. I am so grateful to you and Living Water for providing me with a tasty meal each time and for the Christmas gift I receive. We are in need of groceries, corn and firewood. Well, this is all for now and I hope to receive news from you soon. Every kind of blessing on you!

Special regards,

Tomas Fernando Sucuqui Naz
