My Story

This is a blessed and wonderful day to greet you cordially and tell you a little more about my life. My name is Jonathan Alexander Mendez, and as you know, my stepfather continues working hard to cover our family needs. His name is Carlos Hernandez and he is 50 years old. He earns a living as a farmer and day laborer. He is in good health while my mother is suffering from high blood pressure. She visited the public health center and was taking some pills that they gave her, but she does not have money to buy more medicines. I beg for your prayers for her health. Her name is Olga. Currently, she is working as a day laborer and she also does farming jobs. Moreover, she raises and sells hens and sometimes she sells home-made snacks to earn extra money to support my stepfather with the home expenses. I would like to ask for your prayers for my family because we are a needy family. Our current needs are clothing and shoes.

Jesus is my savior, but as you know, we are not attending any church. LW team shared the gospel with my mother and she said that she will seek a church soon. She helped to collect all this information during the visit. I want to tell you that I was sad when my mother was so sick three months ago, but I prayed to God and he comforted my heart with his presence. I know that he will heal my mother soon. My mother loves me and I admire her. Alex is the name of my best friend and we like to play soccer and hide and seek when we are together. We met one year ago. Unfortunately, I am repeating the second grade this year. I am a thirteen year old teenager and thankfully I am in good health. Thank you for taking the time to read my news.
