My Story

Hello! This is Brenda Aracely Jimenez Lopez, and I am so happy you are reading my information. I am 21 years old and I am a girl with special needs. I was born with a light mental retardation and spina bifida. However, the Lord has kept me happy and well. My best friend’s name is Alexandra. I met her about two years ago. We like talking and watching TV when we gather. I want to share that my parents and I went shopping in a nearby town called Chimaltenango. That was a nice experience because I got to visit a new place, and my parents bought new clothes for me. I identify with my mom because she always supports and encourages me. She is dedicated to taking care of our family, while my father works as a mason. Fortunately, they are healthy. We are members of the Catholic church in our town. Our favorite liturgical time is Holy Week because our brothers and sisters in Christ organize nice activities to remember all that Jesus did for us. I truly believe that He is my hero and friend. I like attending the feeding program because I can listen to him there. My mom is grateful to the staff for being loving and patient with me.
