My Story

Hello! My full name is Luis Jose Garcia Quexel and I am pleased to share my latest news with you through this letter. I want to start by telling you that I have attended the feeding program for more than ten years. My family and I pray that LW-Adopt A Child continues doing social labor to help children in need because all the benefits they provide like medicine are great blessings. I am 19 years old and I work as a mason’s helper in Antigua Guatemala. Thankfully, I am in good health. I usually help my mother to do some chores like making my bed. I like both hot and cold weather.

My family and I feel motivated to attend the Catholic Church because we can take part in the activities that our siblings in Christ organizes. They have helped us to pray more and be thankful to God for all his love and mercy. I tell you that sister Princesa (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with my mother to strengthen her faith in God and advised her to take care of her salvation, which I appreciate so much. Thankfully, my whole family is doing well. My mother is a housewife and sells ornamental plants on the street to contribute to the expenses, while my father is dedicated to farming the land to make a living.
