My Story

Hello, everybody! My full name is Luis Leonardo Del Cid Mixia and it is such a blessing to share my latest news with you through this letter. I am 17 years old and I am in good health, which is worthy nowadays. I am in ninth grade and I usually clean my bedroom to contribute to the chores. I prefer the cold weather rather than hot, and I would like to play the marimba in the worship band of my church to serve God. I attend the Catholic Church together with my family. We believe that if we want to get into Heaven, we must strive to look for God and help others in need. Brother Emanuel (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged us to continue attending church to reach our spiritual goal.

I want to use this opportunity to express to you how grateful I am for the respect and help that LW-Adopt A Child has provided me for many years. My mother used to attend the feeding program when she was a child. She remembers that she had delicious food and had fun by taking part in the different activities they organized. Due to her nice and blessed experience, she enrolled my young brother and me. Today, she keeps busy doing the chores. Could you please pray for her? She suffers from diabetes, but she does not take any medicine at the moment or attend any public health center. The main supporter of my family is my stepfather. He is doing well and makes a living as a security guard. It is time to say goodbye, but I kindly ask you to pray for the well-being of my family. In advance, thank you so much!
