My Story

Hello! My name is John Dave Lima Morente and I am pleased to share my information with you through this letter. I want to start by giving thanks to LW-Adopt A Child for all the support they give me since it has been a great blessing for me and many children and teenagers. I started attending the feeding program about thirteen years ago, and I remember that someone talked with me about the food and other benefits they offer. Today, I am 20 years old and I am on my second year at the university to get a Batchelor’s degree in hotel and gastronomy. I am in good health, which is a blessing and I like cold weather. I also have a stable job as a cook in Colombia farm.

I still attend The Lord is the Healer Church alongside my family. We are motivated to persevere there because we enjoy the sermons and worship songs. I would like to serve in the worship band someday. Sister Princesa (a member of the LW staff) recently talked with my oldest brother and asked him about his salvation. He thinks that we must strive to be better every single day to accomplish the most longed for goal, which is get into Heaven. She congratulated him and shared a verse from the Bible with him as an encouragement to continue attending church. I want you to know that my mother is doing well and continues working as a nurse. My stepfather suffers from his thyroid, but he is under treatment. He works hard as a chiropractor and naturalist doctor. It is time to say goodbye, but I appreciate you for taking the time to read my update.
