My Story

I greet you lovingly, hoping this letter finds you blessed and healthy. This is your sponsored child Jonatan, and I want you to know my family and I are not attending church yet. However, we are grateful for LW because this is a means of so much blessing. Besides that, the staff shared the gospel and encouraged us to attend a church soon. We are passing through difficult moments because of my father's death. My siblings and I miss our father so much, so I would like to count on your prayers for my whole family and me. My mother, Irma Mazate, is 32 years old. She is the only one who supports our necessities by working as a domestic employee. I have three brothers, so my mother strives every day to go ahead with us. However, it has been difficult for her to cover all the expenses, like my school supplies. Our current priorities are food supplies. Fortunately, we are all healthy.

I am already fourteen years old, and I am in seventh grade. The classes are face-to-face, so I am thankful for them because I learn so much better. Boxing is my favorite sport, so I look forward to becoming a boxer when I am older. I love celebrating Christmas because it is a special time to spend with our loved ones, and I love it. I like hot beverages, but my favorite is coffee. If someday I might have the opportunity to study a new language, I would like it to be English. My birthday was in April. What I love the most is eating a delicious cake to celebrate my birthday with my family. I forgot to tell you that I have three lovely dogs.
