My Story

Hello! my name is Estefany Noemi Orellana and I am glad because I have been part of the Feeding Center for twelve years. I like to attend the Bible classes and I love to listen to the word of God.  My mother enrolled me because she heard about the benefits for needy children and I am enjoying these blessings. She is grateful for everything and she prays that God may continue blessing this ministry.

Currently, we are not attending any church, but LW teacher shared the gospel with my mother and she knows about God. She was encouraged to seek a church and the teacher prayed for provision and health for our family because my stepfather unfortunately was sick from his lungs recently. We took him to the emergency department at the Public Hospital called “San Juan de Dios”. Moreover, he is suffering from an infection in his kidneys. He is under medical treatment and he takes medicines, but sometimes it is difficult to buy it because only my mother and I are earning a living by collecting the trash as you know. My stepfather is 63 years old and now he needs to be resting until he recovers. So, we need to earn money to pay a monthly rent of (Q1000,00= $US132) which also include the services of electricity and running water. We eat eggs, rice and beans, and sometimes we eat salads. When we have the possibility, we cook chicken broth. I would like to ask for your prayers for our needs, but especially for my stepfather. Thankfully, my mother and I are in good health. I help my mother by doing the chores at home. I like hot weather because I love to take a shower. Sometimes, the weather changes affect my health.  I will turn 17^th in July and it has been a blessing to share with you my updated information. I send you all my best wishes,
