My Story

Hello! I am so blessed to be part of the feeding program from Living Water and receive a big support. This is Miriam Elizabeth Soto Xar. I am already 18 years old. My family and I attend the Ebenezer Christian Church; we like to attend the services. Jesus is God´s son, my savior and faithful friend. My mom works in a print shop and packs the items they must deliver. Let me tell you that my mom had a surgery to remove the tumor she had on her womb, and thanks to God, everything went well and now, she is recovering from it. The doctors advised my mom to do labs in few months to confirm that all is well. Due to my mom having to rest, we have gone through hard economic times and shortages. But we are so thankful for my mother´s health and that the rest of us are fine.

I thank God for the opportunity to attend school; this year I am in 10th grade. This is the first year of my career to become a pre-primary teacher. My mom does her best to cover my school supplies, but sometimes, it is difficult because they ask for many materials. We pray to God asking for provision so I can continue with my career. I have a friend named Genesis, and we like to laugh and talk about our studies. I get on very well with my older sister; she loves, helps and advises me. We are so close. As for me, the hardest thing I have lived was that my dad passed away some years ago. However, God has been at my side supporting me and giving me the strength to move forward. I would like you to know that my sister, Daniela, shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. Well, this is all for now, and I hope to hear news from you very soon. May God bless you wherever you go!

Kind regards,

Miriam Elizabeth Soto Xar
