My Story

It is a beautiful day to say hello to you and I hope you are doing great! Praise the Lord my family and I attend the Trees of Justice Church; we go on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We are so happy that LW staff shared the gospel with us this time. I am doing well and enjoying good health. However, I want you to pray for my mother´s health. She suffers from diabetes, but fortunately, she is taking her medicine to stay under control. My father was Boanerjes Marroquin Rivera; however, he passed away several years ago. My mother is Rosa Maria Garcia Arias, and she is 52 years old. Most of the time she stays busy with the duties at home. My stepfather is Carlos Sirin Cumez, and he is 56 years old. He works as a trash collector and supports our family. He has been living with us for about 10 years. My pets are one parrot, one cat, and two dogs.

My name is Jesus Boanerjes Marroquin Garcia, and I am 16 years old. This year I attended 9th grade; I received classes at school which was better for my learning. Nowadays, school supplies are so expensive, and it is hard for my family to cover them because of a lack of resources. My dream is to continue with my studies and become an aviation mechanic. The Japanese language catches my attention, and I would like to learn how to speak it. I like sodas, especially Pepsi-Cola which is my favorite one. I like to play football in my free time; it is the sport I like the most. I get so happy when my birthday comes, and my mother cooks grilled meat for lunch; I love to spend my day with my family. Something I love at Christmas is that my family gets together, and I receive a gift in the feeding program. I am so grateful to Living Water for blessing me with food and medical care in the clinics; it is so helpful for me and my family. At home, our top priorities are groceries. Every kind of blessing to you!

With much love,

Jesus Boanerjes Marroquin Garcia
