My Story

Good morning! This is Griselda Marina Grave Chivalan, and first of all, I want you to know that my father had the opportunity to attend the Feeding Program when he was a child. He remembers the activities from youth and the soccer championships in the discipleship team. Due to his own experience, he took me when I was younger.

We are believers and we belong to the Christian Life Church. We feel encouraged to attend and seek God there. We are secure in our salvation in Jesus because he is our Lord and Savior. Currently, my mother is suffering from headaches. Her vision has been affected, but she is taking some pills for pain. She visited the public center health from Zacualpa village for a checkup, and she is waiting for the results from her medical tests. On the other side, my father is suffering from body pain and is taking analgesics for the pain. He is working in the United States and is earning a living in a meat packing plant. He sends us money every fifteen days and has communication with us in spite of the distance. He calls us every day. My mother is a stay-at-home-mom and she also sells her hens, pigs and cows to earn some money and contribute to the home expenses. Sometimes, she also weaves typical napkins to sell. My mother shared this information to the LW teacher and she would like to ask for your prayers for my whole family. I help my mother to make tortillas and I do laundry. I am sixteen and I stay at home every day. I love hot days because where I live most of the time, it is colder. I like the praise time from my church and I enjoy it. I am in good health.
