My Story

Hello! Padrinos how are you? This is a wonderful day to greet you cordially hoping you are doing fine. I want to tell you a little about my family and me with this letter in this opportunity.  I hope you enjoy reading my updated information because it is specially for you with all my love.

About my family: They are grateful for every benefit that I have received from the LW Ministries. As a family, we continue attending the Charismatic Group from de Catholic Church. The LW teacher encouraged my mother to continue seeking God during the visit and she is grateful for the advice. My mother`s name is Manuela Mejia Tol. She lives with us. She is a housewife and takes care of the family. She also raises hens to sell and get some income. Moreover, she sells firewood and embroiders typical napkins in order to support the family expenses. She is in good health and she accepted Jesus in her heart many years ago. She is 7 months pregnant. We grow corn for our family consumption. My father`s name is Ramiro Quino Mendez. As you know, he works in a grocery store in Guatemala City and sometimes he works as a farmer in our village. Unfortunately, he has problems with alcohol, and when he is drinking, he spends all the money that he earns and does not come to our home. When he is not drinking, he supports us with some money although it is not enough to cover every financial need. I ask for your prayers for provision for my family and also for my father.

About myself: I am Wilson Yenser Quino Mejia and I am 12 years old.  I am a healthy boy. Thankfully, I am in 4th grade at school this year.  I go to study every morning.  After that, I help my mother with chores at home. I spend my weekend playing with my brothers and collecting firewood for our home. LW Ministries has blessed my family and my life through the delicious meals for lunch like the fried chicken that I love eating and with medicines in the medical clinic. I enjoyed the beautiful choreographies and dramatizations during the Christmas celebration at the Feeding Center in December. Thank you for your support and love. I send you many blessings! (My mother provided this information to the Evangelism teacher)

Kisses and hugs,

Wilson Yenser Quino Mejia
