My Story

Hello, good afternoon! It is such a blessing to share a little about my life with you. My full name is Sandra Marisol Luis Gonzalez and I am in good health. I am 19 years old and I am dedicated to helping my mother with the household chores, while she works as a day laborer to support our family. We are grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for all the blessings that we have received for many years. My mother took my brother and me there because she wanted us to enjoy delicious food and other benefits just like she did when she was a child. She remembers with a lot of happiness that she had a lot of fun with other children. I tell you that I l prefer the cold weather rather than hot because it is perfect to not sweat.

I would like to be part of the chorus of my church. I hope to do it someday. I attend the Catholic Church alongside my family. My mother thinks that she will be admitted into heaven because she received Jesus in her heart a while ago. Therefore, sister Yesenmia (a member of the LW staff) recently congratulated her and shared that she also accepted Jesus in her heart. I tell you that I do not know anything about my father. Unfortunately, he abandoned us many years ago. My family and I live with my grandparents, uncles and their own families. I am glad because everybody is doing well and contributes to the expenses.
