I fondly greet you hoping the Lord is pouring bountiful blessings upon you and your loved ones. I want to share some news with you about my family and me. I am Emersson Jordany Garcia Tino and I am 11 years old. I want to let you know that at the moment, we are not attending any Church. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with my mother during the visit and for their encouraging words, so she is thinking about attending. Unfortunately, this year, I am repeating 2nd grade at school and I am receiving face-to-face classes every day. I prefer this study method because my teacher gives me a better explanation of homework. I hope to pass my grade with God`s help. At the moment, my parents are making an effort to support my brother and me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that they do not have a stable job. Sometimes, we do not have enough money to buy a snack for school recess. My dream is to go to the coast and work as a truck driver. My native language is the Quiche Mayan dialect, so I would like to learn English; I think it is a very important language. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because I like to light fireworks. Coffee is my favorite beverage. Among sports, I prefer soccer. I do not celebrate my birthday due to a lack of financial resources, but I would like to eat a delicious cake. I ask for your prayers for me because I have had some health problems, but I am not taking medicine due to a lack of financial resources. Thank you to the evangelism team who encouraged me to visit LW`s doctor and I will go soon. By the grace of God, my family is in good health.
My mother`s name is Margarita Tiño Gutierrez. She is 44 years old. At the moment, she continues weaving typical clothes to sell and get some income. Moreover, she raises hens, pigs, and sheep at home. She is the only one that supports the family because my father abandoned us some years ago. We grow corn and black beans for our family`s consumption. We are a humble family and our current needs are groceries. We are grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive through LW Adopt-A-Child in December. Thank you for reading my letter. May God bless you greatly!
Huge hugs,
Emersson Jordany Garcia Tiño
