My Story

Hello! My name is Gustavo Enrique and I am glad to share a little bit of my life with you through this letter. I hope you are doing well. The only person whom I live with is my mother. We do not attend any church at the moment. However, I have learned about the Almighty at the feeding program. Undoubtedly, this project has been a great blessing for my family and me. I am grateful to a teacher of the evangelism team who shared the gospel with my mother to encourage her to look for the Almighty. The teacher also used that opportunity to collect all this information for you. My mom is a single parent. She works hard by washing clothes for other people and raises hens and pigs to cover my necessities. Her name is Rufina Portuguez Garcia and she is 38 years old. Nowadays, everything is expensive. We need groceries like corn and clothes for me. Luckily, we grow corn, beans, lemons, peaches, and chayote for our consumption. As for health, let me tell you that we are doing well.

I am eleven years old and this year, I am in fifth grade. I receive face-to-face classes and I am glad because my knowledge has increased. My mom sometimes does not have enough resources to cover my school supplies, but she does her best to buy the supplies that I need. I like soccer and cycling, although the last one is my favorite. So, I would love to become a successful cyclist when I am older. I also would love to speak English someday. Christmastime is the best one because it brings happiness. I enjoy burning firecrackers to celebrate that festivity. My favorite drinks are Tampico juices. I had my birthday in January. What I love the most is sharing a delicious meal and cake with my family to celebrate a new year of life. I say goodbye to you for now, but I hope you find my information engaging.
