My Story

What a blessing to say hello to you through this letter! My full name is Joel Antonio Garcia Luis, and I am glad to share my 2024 news with you. I hope this update finds you in good health. I am a healthy 13-year-old boy. I attend school in the morning as a fourth-grade student. On weekends, I usually help my father to work in the field. I want to open my heart and tell you that one of my brothers is in jail in the United States. This situation has been difficult for my whole family and me, especially for my mom. Therefore, I beg you to pray for my brother. In advance, thank you so much!

As you know, she is a diabetic woman. Fortunately, my mom has been stable because she takes natural medicine. As for my father, let me tell you that he is in good health. He works hard as a farmer in our village. He grows corn for our consumption. On the other hand, my mom keeps busy raising hens and pigs to sell. We occasionally use them for our consumption. I am glad because I received Jesus in my heart a few years ago. My family and I attend the Prince of Peace Church. Fortunately, my parents had already listened to the good news and accepted the Lord many years ago. Taking advantage of this letter, I want to say thank you so much to the LW evangelism team for sharing the gospel with my mom. That was a great blessing for her soul. Besides feeding our souls with the holy word of the Lord, this project has blessed me with delicious food. I love having fried chicken for lunch at the feeding program the most. I enjoy celebrating Christmas at LW-Adopt a Child because of all the engaging activities the staff prepares. I say goodbye to you now, but I appreciate you taking the time to read my information.
