My Story

Special regards from Guatemala! I feel blessed to write this letter and share a little about my life with you. Before starting, I want you to know that my mother helped me deliver this to LW. I am Lesbia Karina Garcia Cux, and I turned 13 years old in February. Not failing at school has been a satisfactory experience. I am in sixth grade, and I am grateful to the Lord for helping me move forward. I am glad to share that I made a good friend about two years ago. Her name is Paola, and she loves playing soccer as I do. As for my spiritual life, I tell you that my family and I still do not attend a church. Therefore, a member of the LW staff shared the gospel with my mother and me recently. Please pray for us. I hope we can attend church as a family soon.

As you know, my biological father is not part of my life. He does not help me financially either. However, I am not sad because my mother taught me to love Jesus. After all, He is my Heavenly Father. I admire and love my mother because she has done her best for our family. She is the best mother ever! She makes a living as a day laborer and a farmer. Besides that, she weaves typical items like blouses to sell and get an extra income. It is time to say goodbye to you now, but I hope you found my information engaging. Until next time!
