My Story

Good morning! I hope you are blessed when my letter reaches you. My full name is Marcelina Benito De La Cruz and I want you to know that I found out about this Project when our neighbors told my mother about the delicious meals and medicines for free. She decided to take me since I was younger and I like to attend the Bible classes after lunch time because I listen to the word of God. My family is grateful for every support not only for me, but for my older siblings and cousins who have been blessed through the Feeding Program.

I am twenty years old and I continue helping my mother with household duties. I wash clothing and gather firewood. I love both hot and cold weather. I live with my parents and my father currently is earning a living as a farmer and as a typical day laborer to sustain the family while my mother is dedicating her time to the family. She also raises hens for our consumption. Thankfully, we are in good health. I live with my parents at home, but my cousins, older sisters and my brothers-in-law also live with us.  The LW teacher shared the gospel with us because we are not attending any church. My mother was listening to the word of God and shared this information. The teacher prayed for health fpr our family. I say goodbye to you for now!
