My Story

It is a pleasure to greet you by this letter hoping you are fine. At the moment, my family and I do not attend any church. This time LW staff shared the gospel with us and gave us encouraging words so that we look for a church to go to; we appreciate it so much. My father is Damian and he is 74 years old. He makes a living by renting some locations in the town, and in that way, he covers the expenses. My mother is Clary and her age is 26 years old. She stays busy with the duties at home and raises pigs. My father suffers from diabetes, but he has already visited a doctor and is taking medicines. So, I want you to pray for his health. The rest of my family is fine.

I am Sindy Alejandra Giron Lara, and I am an 11-year-old girl. I am in 5^th grade; I take my classes at school and I am learning a lot. It has been hard for my parents to cover the school expenses. The teaching profession catches my attention, and I would like to study for it. The language I would like to learn is English; it is so interesting. The sport I like the most is basketball; it is so much fun. I love drinking lemonade, and it is my favorite beverage. I like spending time with my family at Christmas, and we meet up and enjoy delicious “tamales” (a typical dish). I do nothing special on my birthday, but I feel so happy to start a new year of life. We are so grateful to Living Water for the tasty meals I receive each time. My mother does not cook on Fridays and I eat at the feeding program. The greatest needs are groceries.
