My Story

I greet you in Jesus’ name hoping my letter reaches you in the right time. I am Francisco Eliseo Gomez Lux. I want to start by telling you about my loved ones. My father’s name is Andres, and he is 44 years old. He works in a brick and tile factory to support us. Sadly, my mother was sick, and she passed away at the middle of this year. Her name was Marta, and she was 45 years old. Now, we are under the care of my oldest sister Yohana. At the moment, we are in need of groceries. We trust in God, and we are assured of our Salvation. We are still members of Assembly of God Church, and we attend the services twice a week. We raise hens and pigs but we do not have crops since we do not have enough space to sow.

I am fine, and I am now 12 years old. I would like to have a small party on my next birthday. I want to get a good job and learn English language when I am older. I attended 5^th grade this year, and I learned a lot since we had face-to-face classes. It was difficult for my dad to support me with my studies because he had other expenses. I like playing soccer, and my favorite beverages are Coca-Cola and “mosh” (hot drink made from oats and milk). I love Holy Week celebration because I can eat the traditional bread with honey. Living Water and you are very important for me, and I am grateful for the delicious lunches received. May God bless you!
