My Story

Hi! I greet you cordially and hope you have a successful and blessed day alongside your loved ones. I want to share with you a little about my family and me.  I am Lesbia Yojana Paz Gomez and I am 13 years old.  At the moment, we are attending the Liberty Church from LW every Sunday. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with us and for their encouraging words during the visit. This year I was in 5th grade at school. I received face-to-face classes every day and learned a lot with this study method. Nowadays, school fees are expensive, but my stepfather and mother made an effort to support my brother and me with school expenses. Sometimes, it was difficult to cover every expense. My dream is to become a teacher. I speak Spanish where I live, but I would like to learn English which is an interesting language. My favorite season of the year is summer because I love to play on sunny days. I like to drink Coca-Cola.  Among sports, I prefer soccer. What I like to do for my birthday is to have a delicious food for lunch. I have two cats, three dogs and one rooster at home as our pets. I want to tell you that we grow black beans for our consumption on our own piece of land. Thank God, my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Maria Leticia Gomez Jerez. She is 30 years old. Currently, she continues earning a living by working as a farmer in our village. My father`s name is Jose Eduardo Paz Gomez. He is 35 years old. As you know, he has been in prison for 10 years. Sometimes, I feel so sad about it, but I am sure that God is with him there.  Fortunately, my stepfather has been living with us for 6 years.  His name is Benjamin Sanail. He works in a plant nursery, and he provides for our home expenses. We are very grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive every year`s end through LW. I hope you like to read my letter. May God bless you greatly!

Lots of love,

Lesbia Yojana Paz Gomez
