My Story

Hello! It is a beautiful day to greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you are receiving many blessings from God! I am so happy to tell you that my family and I attend Bethel Methodist Church, and we go on Sundays. This time LW staff shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to continue seeking God and trust our salvation in Him. We appreciate so much the spiritual support for us. My father is Sebastián Benito Calachij and he is 52 years old. He works as a farmer and day laborer to cover the needs of the family. My mother is Catarina Gomez Mendez, and she is 49 years old. She grows coriander, herbs, and husk tomatoes to sell. In addition, she raises hens and turkeys to sell. We grow corn for our consumption. My family and I are in good health, thanks to the Lord.

This is Noe Florentino, and I am 11 years old. I am repeating second grade again; I like to study in this way because I understand the lessons. Nowadays, school supplies are expensive, and it is hard for my parents to cover them because of a lack of resources. My native language is K'iche´ Mayan dialect, and I would like to learn to speak Spanish because I would like to communicate better with other people. The climate I prefer is summer because I can play with water in sunny days. My favorite drink is Pepsi which is delicious. I love eating cake and my parents buy me one on my birthday; they make me so happy. The sport I like the most is soccer, so when I grow up, I would like to be a professional soccer player. Being part of Living Water is a big blessing for me because I receive tasty meals, and medical care in the clinics which is a big help for me and my family. My family needs groceries and corn. Well, this is all for now. May God bless you greatly!

Bunch of hugs,

Noe Florentino Benito Gomez
