My Story

Hello, everybody! My full name is Maria Anally Clara Nicol Colay Barillas and I fondly write this letter, hoping you enjoy reading my updated information. I am pleased to tell you that I have attended the feeding program for about nine years. What I like the most about receiving Bible lessons is praying. This organization has been a great blessing since I can receive medical care too. My grandmother wishes all the best to LW-Adopt A Child for blessing children and teenagers like me. May God make them prosper! Today, I am 18 years old, and by the grace of the Lord, I have the opportunity to continue studying. I am in the first year (10th grade) of a training in Science and Arts with an orientation in enterprise productivity. I usually wash the dishes to contribute to the chores, and I like hot weather. Despite suffering from asthma, I am doing well. I am so happy to tell you that I take part in some competitions, where I have won medals.

Thanks to the loving care of God, my grandmother is doing well. She is under medical treatment because she also suffers from asthma. Could you please pray for the well-being of my family? As you know, my grandmother makes a living by selling second-hand clothes on Saturdays to afford food and everything that my sister and I need. We are lucky for having good-hearted neighbors since they share rice, beans, and oatmeal with us. About our spiritual life, I am glad to tell you that we are motivated to attend a nearby Christian Church because of the unity and harmony. We have assurance of being admitted into Heaven because we are children of God. Brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with my grandmother as an encouragement to continue persevering.
