Special regards from Nueva Esperanza! I am so happy to tell you a little bit about my life. My name is Candy Lucia Hernandez Morales and my mother helped me to compose this letter. By the grace of the Lord, I am a healthy 13-year-old girl. I am in sixth grade and I like the summer season because it is perfect to play with water alongside my cousins. I usually sweep and make the beds to contribute to the chores. I receive Bible lessons at the feeding program, and I like them because the evangelism team always prepares themselves to share the gospel with many children like me. I want you to know that my parents really appreciate each benefit that I have received there, such as food and medicine. May God continue blessing each member of the LW staff so that nobody lacks food and keeps healthy.
I live with my parents and older sister. Could you please pray for my mother? She suffers from hypertension and thrombosis in her right arm and legs. Luckily, she is already under treatment at the public health center. She works hard by doing the cleaning in order to help my father with the expenses. My father is doing well and works hard as a mason in Tecpan town, Chimaltenango. He could not find a job here in the city, but he is doing his best to visit us every fifteen days. About our spiritual life, I tell you that we do not attend any church. Brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with my mother and me as an encouragement to look for God. I will leave you now, but I want you to know that my mother helped me to compose this letter. Until next time!
With much love,
Candy Lucia Hernandez Morales
