Hello! My name is Hector Gabriel, and I am writing this letter to tell you about my life. I am in good health, and I am 12 years old. I am attending school, and I am in 5th grade this year. After classes, I go to grow corn with others to help with the income. I am grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to continue studying; it is a nice experience. I have a friend whose name is Wilmer, and I like talking with him; I met him many years ago.
I look like my father and I have his character, so he is the member of my family with whom I identify most. I would like to ask for your prayers for him because he has alcoholic problem. Due to this situation, he separated from my mom and abandoned us. My mom has to work hard as a day laborer to cover our needs, but it is difficult because, since she is a woman, she does not receive a fair payment. We are a very needy family, but God has never abandoned us. For me, Jesus is always taking care of me. We attend the Catholic Church, and we love it when there are vigils. My mom helped me with this letter, and I hope you find it interesting.
With much love
Hector Gabriel De La Cruz Ajqui
