Good morning! It is a great blessing for me to be part of the feeding program from Living Water. I am Iker Ulises Martinez Martinez, and I turn 14 years old in August of this year. We attend the God is Good Christian Church. Jesus is so good and heals us from anything. As a family, we suffered the loss of some of our relatives, and we still miss them. We are sure they are with our Lord; we pray for the strength to accept that they are not with us anymore. My mom stays busy with the housework and taking care of my brother and me. My dad continues selling medicines and he supplies our home needs. I would like you to include my family in your prayers, especially my parents who have health issues. My dad suffers from high blood pressure and receives medical care at “IGSS” (Guatemalan Social Security Institute). My mom is diabetic, and fortunately, she is taking medicine. Thankfully, my sister and I are doing well.
Fortunately, I did well at school last year and now, I am in 7th grade. I have a friend named Mynor. We like to play football and occasionally, we go out to eat something. We have been friends for five years. I get along very well with my mom; she is confident in me and supports me all the time. One of my uncles passed away last year. We were so close and I miss him a lot. I thank God for giving me the strength to overcome my uncle's death. I would like you to know that my mom, Marcia, shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. I say goodbye to you for now. Many blessings!
Lots of love,
Iker Ulises Martinez Martinez
