My Story

Hello! I fondly greet you, hoping this letter finds you prospered and blessed. My full name is Angel Emanuel Medio Gonzalez and I have attended the feeding program for about seven years. My family is deeply grateful to God for the benefits that I have received there. We know all the social work they do is possible thanks to the financial support that you and many good-hearted people provide. I am 14 years old and I am in seventh grade at school. Thankfully, I am in good health and I usually sweep or wash the dishes to contribute to the chores. I like the warm environment, so I prefer hot weather rather than cold. I attend the Catholic Church in my town and I would like to serve as a lector. Taking part in the holy mass motivates me to continue persevering there.

I believe that I will be admitted into Heaven because I am doing my best to be closer to God by reading the bible. Sister Raquel (a member of the LW staff) recently talked with me to collect all my information and encouraged me to continue moving forward and to continue reading the bible to increase in faith. About my family, I am pleased to tell you that everybody is doing well. My mother continues working hard as a domestic employee in the United States. She is in touch with me and supports my needs. The one who takes care of me is my aunt, Maria del Carmen. She also makes a living as a domestic employee. We live with my grandmother who keeps busy at home.
