My Story

Dear Madrina, my heart is happy because you are in it! Thank you for taking the time to read my news. First of all, I want you to know that I am glad because I passed the last grade at school. I was repeating the same grade, but thanks to God, now I am studying the 3^rd grade at school. For me, it was so difficult to learn the subjects, but God has helped me. He was with me all the time and I could feel his presence in my life. It has been a nice experience in my life. Jesus, is my friend and I trust in him. I like to attend the thanksgiving service that we celebrate in our church. As you know, we are seeking God in the Church of Christ. I have a best friend and her name is Yojana. We play tag and football when we are together. I am ten years old and I am a healthy boy. My name is Miguel Garcia Riz.

I admire my mother because of her manner. She is a brave and demanding mom. She helps my father with home expenses by raising and selling her hens, cows and sheep. Her name is Guadalupe. She is in good health and she takes care of us with much love. In addition, she does the housework. My father`s name is Agustin and he lives and works washing dishes in a restaurant in the United States. Fortunately, he sends money to sustain us and we have communication with him every 15 days. My father also is in good health and he is a hardworking man. I send you all the best from the bottom of my heart!
