I fondly greet you, prayign the grace and peace of the Lord be with you. This is Rosalinda Pastor Hernandez, and I turned 12 years old. I want to share that my classmates and I took a trip to a watery place called “Aguas Calientes” to celebrate that we passed fourth grade last year. That was one of the happiest and most satisfactory experiences I have had. I am sure God helped me at school. I am in fifth grade now. If you ask me who Jesus is to me, I would say He is my faithful friend. I love hearing about Him at church. My family and I attend a Christian church called Emanuel. There are many activities held there, but our favorite one is the Christmas dinner.
Now, let me update you about my family. My father has health problems. He is under treatment, but that is not working. He makes a living as a farmer and a day laborer. On the other hand, my mother hurt her left index finger a few months ago. She got an infection, but she is under treatment. She is a housewife and sells flowers at the market on Thursdays and Sundays. She uses her income to contribute to the expenses. To finish this letter, let me tell you that I made a good friend at school. Her name is Evelyn, and we usually go to school together. Thank you so much for reading my letter! I hope to hear your news soon.
With much love,
Rosalinda Pastor Hernandez
