My Story

Hello, everybody! My full name is Elmer Adrian Toledo, and it is such a big blessing to write this letter for you. First, I want to express how grateful my mother is for all the blessings that I have received at LW-Adopt A Child for about seven years. I am 13 years old and what I like the most is listening to the message that the teachers share with me during the Bible lessons. I am in good health and I am doing my best at school as a sixth-grader. I usually do errands to help my mother with the chores and I like the hot weather because it is perfect to play with water alongside my friends. As you know, my mother is a single parent and strives to support my siblings and me.

Fortunately, she is in good health and works by doing the cleaning for others on Tuesdays and Fridays. She does not earn much, but she is grateful to God for helping her to move forward, despite ups and downs. Could you please pray for our financial stability and a better job opportunity for my mother? We attend a Christian Church called Restauration and what motivates us to persevere there is the fellowship. We have assurance of being admitted into Heaven because God has given us life. Brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared a verse of the Bible with my mother, which was a great blessing.
