Kind regards from Jocotenango town! It is such a great blessing to share with you a little about my life by means of this letter. I hope you find it engaging. My full name is Edy Eduardo Marroquin Perez, and my family and I are so grateful for the meaningful support that LW-Adopt A Child offers. I remember that I started to attend the feeding program about seven years ago alongside some of my friends who used to attend the youth center, too. Nowadays, I have the opportunity to serve as part of the office staff on a part-time basis which I really appreciate because this has blessed me a lot. I am 19 years old and I am in 10th grade at school. Because of work, I study on Saturdays. I chose a professional career which lasts three years to become a business administrator. Thankfully, I am a healthy boy. At home, I usually help my mother to sweep and do the dishes.
Between cold and hot weather, I prefer cold because I like drinking hot beverages like coffee and dipping a sweet piece of bread in it. As for my spiritual life, I tell you that my family and I are members of Liberty Church. I am so happy because I can serve in the Bible Sunday School. I also would like to take part in the worship band someday. Sister Raquel (a member of the LW evangelism staff) recently asked me what I think about Heaven. I told her that I am working to improve my life because I want to be there with God someday. We both agree that reading the bible is the best guidance to accomplish that goal. Now, let me tell you a little about my parents; my father works as a tuk-tuk taxi driver and my mother is a busy housewife. Fortunately, none of them is sick. It is time to say goodbye, but I appreciate that you took the time to read this information to learn about me.
Sincerely yours,
Edy Eduardo Marroquin Perez
