My Story

First, thank you so much for taking the time to read my information. I am Juana, and I hope you find this update engaging. My family and I are members of the Pentecostal United Church. We usually attend our services twice weekly. We are sure the Lord is our salvation. My father, Jose Garcia, is 40 years old. He farms the land for other people to support our family. Besides that, he raises corn and beans for our family’s consumption. My mother, Amanda Chitic, is 41 years old. She is a very busy housewife who helps with the expenses at home by making typical items. We have some hens, pigs, and a few cows to get extra income by selling them. Thankfully, nobody is sick at home.

I am ten years old and my health is in good condition too. My birthday will be in October. I do not know if my parents will be able to celebrate it, but I really hope it could be possible. I want to become a lawyer and speak English when I am older. Therefore, I am doing my best as a fourth grader. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because it helps me to understand how to do homework. My father has had trouble covering my school needs. However, I trust the Lord will help us to get ahead. I want to use this time to ask for your loving prayers for my family and me. Christmas is my favorite; I enjoy burning firecrackers. I love drinking Coca-Cola and playing basketball. This is all for now about my life. Before ending this letter, I want you to know that a teacher of the LW evangelism team spoke with my sister Kelyn to collect this information for you. We are grateful to Lord because my siblings and I have received delicious food at the feeding program. I say goodbye to you for now, but I hope the Almighty rewards you bountifully.

From the bottom of my heart,

Berenisa Juana Melissa Garcia Chitic
