My Story

It is a great blessing for me to write this letter for you. I hope you are doing well together with your loved ones. I am Javier Alessandro Mazate Alvarado, and I am 12 years old. I am a fifth-grade student this year. I have classes in the morning. My favorite sport is soccer. I usually practice that sport on weekends. I like eating fried chicken. As for health, let me tell you that my family and I are doing well. My father makes a living as a deliverer to support our family. Unfortunately, my mom ran out of work. Now, she watches over me and does the household chores. Taking advantage of this, I would love to count on your prayers so my mom can find a new job. In advance, thank you so much!

My family and I started to attend a new Christian Church. I received Jesus in my heart when I was seven years old. Thankfully, my mom accepted Jesus at church recently. We are glad because a member of the LW staff encouraged us to continue growing spiritually. It has been a great blessing for me to be part of Adopt a Child-LW. I have medical and dental care for free. Besides that, my family and I received groceries during the most difficult moments of the pandemic. My mom is thankful to the LW staff for serving with love and kindness to many children like me. We ask the Lord to pour blessings and grace upon all the staff and all the ones who support this project.
