I hope you are having a wonderful day alongside your loved ones; God bless you! At the moment, we are not attending church. This time LW staff shared the gospel and encouraging words to look for a church to go to; we appreciate this so much. I am so thankful to God because my family and I are healthy. My father is Vicente Rodriguez, and he is 60 years old. He earns a living by working as a farmer and day laborer. My mother is Teresa de la Cruz, and she is 48 years old. She stays busy with the household work, and she raises hens and pigs to sell. At home, we grow corn and black beans for our consumption.
I am Darlyn Roxana, and I am a 13-year-old girl. I am a fifth-grade student, and my learning has improved since my classes are at school. For my parents, it has been difficult to cover the school supplies because of the lack of resources, and we have other expenses at home. Later, I would like to study to become a teacher and help my family. The language I would like to learn is English; it is so interesting. I want to tell you the sport I like the most is cycling. At home, we celebrate Christmas by eating “tamales” (a typical dish), and we enjoy time together. Of all drinks, my favorite is Pepsi cola. To celebrate my birthday, I ask for a cake, and if my parents have the resources, they buy it. I am so grateful to you and Living Water for providing me with a tasty meal, and the dental and medical attention; it is a big blessing for me. The greatest needs are sugar, black beans, corn and clothes. Well, for the time being, that is all. Many rich blessings on you!
Bunch of hugs,
Darlyn Roxana Rodriguez De La Cruz
