My Story

Hello! How are you? You have earned a little piece of my heart, so I wanted to write you a short letter today to tell you how it is going for me. Warm regards from, Alex Jimon Calachij. I am 13 years old now. I feel so happy because I am studying in 6^th grade, and it is the last one of Primary School. I have had the privilege to be part of the feeding program for seven years. What I like best is the playground. When I come back from school, I help my mother carry firewood for cooking. I love the different weathers in Guatemala, both cold and hot because it lets me doing many things. Thankfully, I am a healthy child. I would like to be part of the youth group at church.

My parents are grateful for the support. They pray God blesses you and your family for each blessing you share with us. Thank God, my family is well. My father works both as a farmer and as a day laborer. My mother stays at home taking care of the family, and she earns a living raising and selling hens and sheep. We are members of a Catholic Church. Please pray for God to bless our family during the year. My older sister helped me to give my information. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
