Hello! This is Josue, your sponsored child. I thank you in advance for reading my letter. My family and I are in good health. We live in a place called El Calvario, and our house is near a church. We believe in God and we attend a Pentecostal Church. I do not have my father’s support. My mom has been both father and mother for me, and she has done her best to cover our needs. She mostly works as a day laborer with our neighbors and also does the laundry of others. We only raise hens for selling. We do not have crops since we do not have space for it.  

I am 12 years old, and I am now in 4th grade. I am studying in the morning, and I like going out to play with my friends in the afternoon. I go out to play football on weekends. The lunches at the feeding program have been a great blessing for me, and my favorite one is fried chicken. I love the Christmas celebration at the program because I receive a beautiful present and a special lunch. I would like to end my letter asking for your prayers for my family and our health.
