My Story

Hello! I fondly greet you, hoping this letter helps you to learn a little about my life. Before telling you about it, I want you to know that my whole family and I are grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for the food, medicine, and Christmas gifts that my siblings and I can receive, thanks to you and many other people that support this organization. My full name is Vilma Maria Elena Chingo Cux and I am 12 years old. I have attended the feeding program for about eight years. What I like the most is listening to the gospel before having my meals. Fortunately, I am in good health. I am in sixth grade at school and I usually help my mother to clean our house. I prefer hot weather because here in the mountains, it is always cold. I like the worship ministry of my church and I would like to serve there someday. I attend the Prince of Peace Church alongside my family.

We feel motivated to get there because we like learning about our Lord by means of the scriptures. My mother is assured about her salvation because she received Jesus in her heart as her Savior. She keeps busy doing the chores, weaving typical clothes, and selling chickens to contribute to the expenses. My father continues farming the land and working as a day laborer. I am glad because nobody in my family is sick. It is time to say goodbye, but I kindly ask you to pray for my family so that God continues taking care of us.
