My Story

Hello! I am Rolando Gutierrez De La Cruz, and I am updating you about my family and me; I am grateful to an LW Evangelism teacher because he collected this information for you. Currently, we are members of Assembly of God Church, and we attend services on Thursdays and Sundays. We are sure of our Salvation. My father’s name is Arnulfo. He is 40 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a day laborer and covers our needs. My mother’s name is Estela. She is 37 years old, and she is in good health too. She dedicates her time to the family and home. We are a humble family, and we are now in need of groceries and corn. We grow some corn and black beans, but it is not enough so we have to buy some of these grains for the rest of the year.

Now, I will tell you a little about myself. I am 14 years old and I am in good health. I am in fourth grade this year, and I like receiving face-to-face classes because I learn more. It has been difficult for my parents to cover my school expenses, especially at the beginning of the school year, because they have to buy me the backpack and school supplies. I want to be a good farmer in the future. My favorite season of the year is winter because I can help my father to grow corn. I love drinking orange juice, and I prefer soccer as a sport. I would like to learn to speak English. I enjoy my birthday because I receive a cake. For us, Living Water has been a great blessing because we receive many benefits like Christmas presents. I will finish my letter hoping it finds you well.
