My Story

First, thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter. My name is Emely, and I want to share my last news with you. I hope this finds you doing well. My family and I attend Assembly God’s Church on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Fortunately, all of us are in good health. My father, Carlos Luis, is 48 years old. His current job consists of farming the land. My mother, Dominga Cuin, is 46 years old. She is dedicated to do the household chores and take care of me. Nowadays, everything is expensive. We need grocery parcels at home. I want you to know the feeding program is a crucial project in my community. Many children like me can receive tasty food there. We raise a few hens and harvest corn for our consumption.

I turned ten years old in January. I love having a delicious meal to celebrate my birthday with my family. I would love to become a police officer when I am older. Therefore, I am doing my best at school as a fourth grader. I agree to learn more lessons. My favorite season is summer because I like the weather. I enjoy drinking sodas, especially Coca-Cola. Besides speaking my native language, I would love to learn how to speak English. I hope to accomplish it someday. Soccer is the most popular sport in my country, but I prefer basketball. To end this update, I want you to know that my mother helped me to give all this information to a teacher of the LW evangelism team.
