My Story

Hello, everybody! I am Anllely Jire Garcia Cifuentes and it is such a pleasure to share a little about my life with you through this letter. Thankfully, I am a healthy 13-year-old girl and I have attended the feeding program for about seven years. My family is pleased for each blessing that I have received there. We pray that God continues guiding and blessing the life of each member of the LW staff. My mother felt motivated to send my sister and me there because some of our relatives told us about this organization that helped many children in need. I usually receive Bible lessons before having my meals and what I like the most is learning new Bible texts. I am in seventh grade and I like the summer. When I stay home, I usually help my mother to clean the dining table and sweep. The main supporter of my family is my mother. She works hard as a domestic employee. She suffers from diabetes and hypertension, but she is already under treatment.

I want you to know that she had a surgery last year because she had a benign mass in her womb, but she recovered and now, she is doing well. I am grateful to God because my grandparents are alive. We live with them and while my mother works, my grandmother takes care of my sister and me. My grandfather also had a surgery on his chest this year because he also had a mass. Thankfully, he is doing well and works hard to contribute to the expenses. My family and I are members of a Christian Church called People of God. We are motivated to persevere there because of the unity they offer you when they pray for each other. My grandmother thinks that she will be admitted into Heaven because she is looking for God with all her heart. It is time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with my grandmother as an encouragement to continue looking for God.
