My Story

Hello! I want to start this letter by praying that God’s peace and love be with you and your loved ones. This is Sulma Beatriz Tzoy Gutierrez, and I am glad to share my news with you. I am 9 years old, and I am doing well at school. I am in second grade. Let me tell you that I made good friends a couple of years ago. Their names are Yocelyn and Madelyn. We usually get together to play freeze tag. We also go to the feeding program together. God has been faithful to my family and me. He has kept us healthy so far. 

My mother is dedicated to taking care of our family and weaving typical items to contribute to the household expenses. Her ability to weave is amazing, so I admire her a lot! As for my father, he makes a living as a farmer and day laborer. They have taught me that Jesus is the best friend I can have. Therefore, we attend church to learn more about Him. We are a Catholic family, and the activities we enjoy the most at church are the posadas (it is a small procession, which represents when Joseph and Mary were looking for a place where Jesus could be born). It is time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that my mother helped me share all this information with LW, so you could hear about it. Have a wonderful day!
