I fondly greet you, hoping this letter finds you doing well. Before sharing about my life with you, I want to express my gratitude for taking your time to learn about me. My name is Romeo de la Cruz Suar, and I am 15 years old. I am doing my best at school. I am in sixth grade again. I want to use this opportunity to ask for your prayers for my family and me. We are passing through a hard economic situation, which has been the most challenging experience we have had. We sometimes have nothing at home to eat, but we trust that God is taking control of this situation.
I have felt the Lord’s presence through our neighbors and relatives who have helped us with some groceries. About health, let me tell you that my father has gastritis and varicose veins in his left foot. He takes painkillers and applies ointment to his foot to mitigate the issues. On the other hand, my mother also takes some medicines to mitigate headaches. She also suffers from weakness and anxiety. They have not gone to the doctor because of our low income.
Despite their health issues, they work hard to cover the necessities of our family. My father is a day laborer, and my mother sells domestic animals. She has chickens, turkeys, and ducks at home. I want you to know that my brother Ramiro and I are doing well. We have a lot of fun playing soccer after school. I praise the Lord because He gave me the best brother and friend ever. We attend a Christian Church called Full Gospel alongside our parents. Thanksgiving services for the harvest and the anniversary of our church are engaging activities that we enjoy taking part in. It is time to say goodbye, but I send you my best wishes.
Sincerely yours,
Romeo de la Cruz Suar
