My Story

First, I thank you so much for taking your time to learn about me through this letter. This is Ramiro de la Cruz Suar, and I hope you find this information engaging. I am 12 years old, and I am in fifth grade at school this year. I trust in Jesus because He is God’s son. He has provided my family and me with hope and faith to overcome the challenges of life, like the lack of food, electricity at home, and financial resources. We have seen the love and mercy of our Lord through our relatives and kind people who have helped us with some food when we needed it the most. My family and I attend a Christian Church called Full Gospel. We like taking part in the different activities, such as the anniversary and Thanksgiving services for the harvest.

I am grateful to Jesus because my brother Romeo and I are healthy. We are best friends and have a lot of fun playing soccer after school. As for my parents, I want you to know my father has gastritis and varicose veins in his left foot. He takes painkillers and applies ointment to his foot to mitigate the issues. On the other hand, my mother also takes some medicines to mitigate headaches. She also suffers from weakness and anxiety. Despite their health issues, they work hard to move forward with our family. My father is a day laborer, and my mother sells domestic animals. She has chickens, turkeys, and ducks at home. I identify with my mother because she is always taking care of us. It is time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that a member of the LW staff encouraged us to continue trusting in God’s promises and miracles. Have a wonderful day!
