My Story

My full name is Israel Jonathan Ich Xi, and I am so happy to share a little about my life with you. I am 13 years old, and I am in 5th grade at school. I am in good health and I prefer cold weather because I can sleep warmly. I have two brothers and one sister. By the grace of the Lord, we have attended the feeding program for about eight years. Before having our meals, we have Bible classes, and what I like the most is praying and learning about God. Therefore, I am grateful to you for trusting in LW-Adopt A Child. May God bless you richly and keep you healthy to continue being an instrument of blessing! I am glad to tell you that nobody in my family is sick. My father works hard as a security guard while my mother dedicates her full time to taking care of my siblings and me. I usually help her to do errands.

We have passed through a hard economic situation, but trust that we will move forward. Please pray that God keeps my father healthy and blessed so he can be able to continue supporting our family. About my spiritual life, I tell you that I attend a Christian Church called the Door of Heaven. You can feel fellowship there. That inspired my siblings and me to go there since last year; our parents joined us this year. We trust that God is the reason for our life and we are nothing without him. When brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) asked us about "Why do you think God should allow you to get into Heaven?", my mother’s answer was that God forgave our sins, and due to that we will be able to get in Heaven. He also shared the gospel with us to reinforce our trust in the Almighty. This is all for now, but I appreciate you taking the time to read my information. I hope you found it engaging.
