My Story

Hello! I am so happy to write this letter to tell you a little bit about my life. I am Luisa De La Cruz Ajqui and I have attended the feeding program for about nine years. Before having my meals, I usually receive Bible lessons and what I like the most is singing. I am 14 years old and I am doing my best at school as a fifth-grade student. When I stay home, I usually wash and save the dishes to help my mother. She is a very busy housewife and raises chickens for our consumption. The main supporter of my family is my father, who makes a living as a day laborer.

I like the hot weather and I attend church alongside my family. We are motivated to persevere there because we have learned about how to follow God and listen to his word through the scriptures. Thankfully, we are all in good health. We usually travel from November to January to cut coffee beans at the coast in order to earn a little extra income. It is almost time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that my parents are grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for blessing my siblings and me with delicious food. My parents felt motivated to send us there because they heard that many children have enjoyed this benefit.  I hope you enjoyed reading my information.
